Note: I currently have limited mid-afternoon weekday availability for new clients. Additional appointments may become available in the next 1-2 months.

COVID-19 response: In response to spikes in local COVID positivity and hospitalization rates, my physical office may close to protect the health of my clients, staff, and our families. If this occurs, Telehealth services are available. Any updates or changes to services will be reported to clients directly through the Client Portal.

Updates related to Telehealth and in-person appointment availability may be found via this link.

Telehealth services are available for clients in Texas and all other PSYPACT participating states (see the Telehealth Services section below for more information).

Animal Assisted Therapy. Please be aware that there are two therapy dogs in my suite. One (Lola) may attend sessions with me, and another (Frieda) attends sessions with another counselor in the suite. These dogs may be encountered in the common waiting area. Please let me know if you have allergies or concerns about interacting with dogs.

You can find additional information on what to expect for both psychotherapy and assessments in their respective sections under the Services and Frequently Asked Questions tabs.

Scheduling your first appointment

You may request a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation by clicking the button below. This call will allow you to briefly discuss your presenting concerns, ask any questions, determine appropriateness of fit, and schedule a full new client appointment (via telehealth or in-office). There is no fee for this phone consultation, however a credit card is required to reserve the appointment.

New client forms

When you schedule your first therapy or assessment appointment, you will be asked to complete an intake packet providing basic information, insurance information (if you plan to file with insurance), consent, HIPPA privacy statement, and office policies. This packet is made available through the Client Portal. You can complete these forms online from home, and submit them securely through the portal. The intake packet generally takes 30 minutes to finish, and should be completed prior to your appointment so as to not take any time away from your session. This will also allow me time to review the packet before your session.

Telehealth Services

I provide the option of Telehealth sessions for individual psychotherapy. In-person/in-office sessions are recommended when possible. However, I regularly work with clients in different parts of the state and the country. This is also a great option if you know in advance that you will be unable to get to the office (e.g., in case of inclement weather, recovery from illness/injury, COVID-19 precautions, etc.). I recommend discussing the pros and cons of Telehealth in session so that you know whether this would be a good option for you.

I am approved by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB) and the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) to provide Telehealth services to individuals in all PSYPACT participating states (currently including AL, AZ, AR,  CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN. KS, KY, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WV, WI, WY).
